AbGradCon 2021: Now Virtual!
Hosted by the Earth-Life Science Institute, Tokyo | The Astrobiology Graduate Conference (AbGradCon) this year will now be held virtually, and the application process has been extended to reflect this change. The conference will still be hosted by the Earth-Life Science Institute, and will consist of dual-sessions per each day of the conference to accommodate as many time zones as possible. The conference organizers are working hard to make this year's virtual experience the best that it can be, and will release more details on the structure of AbGradCon as it develops. The new application deadline is April 15, 2021, 23:59 JST, or 2:59PM UTC.
AbGradCon 2021 will mark the 17th year of this conference- each time in a different place and organized by a different group of students and postdocs, but always with the original charter as a guide. Since it is organized and attended by only graduate students, post docs, and selected undergraduates, AbGradCon is an ideal venue for the next generation of career astrobiologists to form bonds, share ideas, and discuss the issues that will shape the future of the field.
