ACA affordability threshold lowered for 2020

The Affordable Care Act shared-responsibility affordability percentage threshold has been lowered from 2019's rate of 9.86% of an employee's household income to 9.78% for 2020. The affordability standard represents a cap on how much an employee can be required to pay for insurance premiums and meet ACA's minimum coverage requirements.
