Ultra-Orthodox author and therapist Chaim Walder, who has been accused of sexually assaulting women, girls and boys, died by suicide on Monday.

According to a Haaretz investigation in November, Walder, 52, allegedly sexually exploited girls and women for years. One of them was twelve when the exploitation began, while the other two were 15 and 20.

On Sunday, a rabbinical court in heard 22 testimonies which included many more allegations against Walder than had appeared in Haaretz's expose.

The testimonies, presented by alleged victims, therapists, rabbinical court judges, rabbis and professionals, described several cases of forced sexual relations and sexual assault of women, girls and boys who had come to Walder for treatment.

The earliest accounts stretched back 25 years, while the most recent ones took place only six months ago.
