 One of the benefits of the shift to virtual conferences is that more people can attend and only have to carve out time for what their interests are. This past week the ADA Scientific Sessions were virtual, and that gave us a chance to have our PharmD interns attend and get firsthand knowledge on the latest in diabetes care. We will be featuring their articles over the next few weeks.
This week, we start out with a feature by Jasmine Dumontier-Hiott, PharmD Candidate, USF College of Pharmacy, looking at research on the newest diabetes combo, a GLP-1 agonist and a GIP agonist. The study was presented by Dr. Drucker and Dr. Frias, among others, and Jasmine delivers the meat of the presentation for you to review.
