A French bomber – most likely, the 280-hp. Voisin X – took off from the Villesauvage aerodrome on April 9, 1923, performed maneuvers “freely,” including touch-and-gos, and then landed “without a hitch of any kind,” we reported in our May 28, 1923 cover story.
