Update from Justin Horne After some heavy downpours last night, rain chances fade as we go into the weekend -- Justin Good Morning! It was busy last night as slow-moving storms moved across parts of South Texas and San Antonio. Gusty winds resulted in some damage, while heavy rains fell in localized areas. The radar is showing a few more showers this morning southeast of San Antonio. The morning commute, however, will mostly be a dry one. A few more isolated storms may pop this afternoon. High temperature stay hot, with daytime highs reaching the upper 90s yet again! Heat index values may top 100 for a few hours today. A slight chance of rain continues into the weekend, but any activity will be few and far between. As for relief for the heat.... there's still none in sight. Have a great day and stay cool!
