Good morning, Marketer, that martech space is growing 

Congratulations to our friends Scott Brinker and Frans Riemersma on their “Martech for 2024” report released today. There’s some compelling speculation about where the space is headed. Growing, it sure is. Here’s our take.

Meanwhile, Kath Pay’s article on AI-powered cold email made me think of what I would call lukewarm email. I received such an email from a company this morning. I had done business with them before, so in addition to my email address, they would have my actual address and other information. They sent me an offer; I clicked on it, entered my zip code and was told the offer was not available in my location.

You can’t segment your lists by zip code to avoid wasting a lot of people’s time? Never mind AI-powered. Let’s just be intelligence-powered.
