AI16Z’S HUMANOID ROBOT 🤖

In 2021, crypto projects dangled the promise of ‘The Metaverse’ in front of us.

And in 2025, it’s…humanoid robots?

The folks behind Eliza, the AI framework powering ai16z’s Marc AIndreesen, just announced they’re planning to launch a humanoid robot.

Now, we want to make it very clear: it’s NOT a sex robot. Ok? Good.

Here’s its specs and features…

…ok, we take it back. 

Someone is definitely going to try and f*ck this thing.

Now, not much else is known about the robot just yet (it literally just got announced) – but if you’re hyped on it, we’d say this:

Learn to meditate.

We love when builders set big, hairy, audacious goals! But these things take time, and can often never materialize.

(As the saying goes: hardware is hard).

Plus, when you zoom out, this could just be a marketing campaign masquerading as a product.

‘Cause, sure “$420k for a robot companion that will cut your cigars” makes for a hell of a headline… 

But it doesn't make that much sense from a consumer perspective when Tesla is aiming to launch its Optimus Robot at $30k, and you can buy a Boston Dynamics robot dog today for $75k.

If nothing else, it tells us this:

The mania phase of the bull run (a time when people spend big on stupid things) is fast approaching.

ARE MULTIPLE NATION STATES ABOUT TO ADOPT CRYPTO AS A TREASURY ASSET? 🧐

You know how you can smell when a thunderstorm is about to hit?

It’s like nature’s way of saying “hey dude, things might be about to get wild out here. Put your clothes back on, stop crying, and go back inside.”

…or whatever.

The point we’re trying to make is:

We’re getting a similar ‘calm before the storm’ feeling, re: nation states adopting Bitcoin and crypto as treasury assets.

Here’s what’s causing it:

1/ Hunter Horsley, CEO of Bitwise, just said this…

Translation: a nation state just asked Bitwise (a US $BTC ETF provider) for their advice on moving some of their treasury into Bitcoin.

Which country is it? No idea. 👇

2/ Trump is ‘receptive’ to the idea of a US crypto reserve (inc. $SOL, $USDC, and $XRP)

How do coins make the cut? They need to have been founded in the US.

3/ There’s a theory (nothing more) that China is currently buying $BTC

What’s the thinking behind this?

China has a bunch of spare cash on hand, and has recently stopped buying US treasuries.

…so where else can China stash its excess cash? Right now, its priority seems to be gold purchases – but Bitcoin presents as a digital alternative.

(And China has been gradually reintroducing its population to crypto of late).

As we said, it’s just a theory.

But pair them all together and…
