Our experts make LSU-Tennessee picks
By KELLY P. KISSEL | Metro editor It's like an AirBNB for hunters. Early Waitr employees have branched out into a new business. They've received $1.8 million in funding for a system pairing outdoorsy-type people with accommodations and recreation opportunities. Investigators looking into an opioid-related death eventually ended up at the door of a Baton Rouge church. What did they find inside? A tropical system in the Caribbean Sea is expected to intensify into a hurricane. Right now, it looks like the storm will be called Julia and it's path through the next five days is no threat to Louisiana. There's a thing out in the Atlantic, too, but it is expected to weaken rather than develop into a tropical storm. |

| With each victory during their four-game winning streak, the LSU Tigers have seen their bowl prospects prosper. No, no one has LSU in a New Year’s Six bowl yet, though that could change if the Tigers upset Tennessee on Saturday (11 a.m., ESPN). But no one is saying LSU won’t even make a bowl like some projections did after the Florida State loss.
