WFW opens in Tokyo with former White & Case team
Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) has opened an office in Tokyo, its 19th globally. The office will be led by former White & Case partners Keisuke Imon and Simon Collins, with Collins relocating from WFW’s Hong Kong office.

Bakers, White & Case act on $4.5 bln Indonesia EV battery plant deal
Baker McKenzie and White & Case have advised PT Vale Indonesia and China's Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt, respectively, as two of the three partners in a $4.5 billion nickel processing plant in the Southeast Asian country, with U.S. carmaker Ford being the third.

Trilegal to cross 100 equity partners after hiring 8 from SAM
Indian law firm Trilegal will have 101 equity partners after bringing on board eight corporate partners from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, led by Amit Khansaheb. The other partners are Vishruta Kaul, Nikhil Sachdeva, Rishi Jain, Abhishek Dubey, Rahul Chugh, Prateek Lala and Pratyush Singh.
