All eyes are on this year's General Assembly, hosted by Jewish Federations (Advertisement)

For the first time in three years, leaders from across the North American Jewish community are coming together, in person, to gather and work collaboratively at The General Assembly in Chicago.

Since it was first held 90 years ago, The General Assembly, hosted by Jewish Federations, has been the largest, most consequential gathering of the leadership of the North American Jewish community.

Together, we are exploring the complex issues facing our communities and setting our shared communal agenda for the year ahead. The impact of the war in Ukraine and the worldwide proliferation of anti-Jewish and anti-Israel rhetoric have brought us to a tipping point. Mental health, poverty, and threats to our safety and security have always been areas of focus, but in a post-pandemic world our focus on these areas is more important than ever.

In the face of extreme challenges, we must join together to create new, implementable strategies as well as strengthen vital current initiatives for the coming year.
