3nity Outdoor Concert Co-Presented by Nuestra Comunidad | View in browser
Boston’s first all-female Latin band, 3nity, unites African,
Latin, and American styles and influences, allowing the women of 3nity to share
their whole selves and their joyful virtuosity. Members come from Brazil, Cuba,
Puerto Rico, and beyond, and they celebrate the African roots that run through
so much Latin music.
Join us for a free outdoor concert at Nubian Square this Saturday. The event is part of Sanative Arts Fest, co-presented by Nuestra Communidad Development Corporation.
3nity will perform originals, jazz standards with their own twist, and favorites from across the Americas. Music starts at 3:00pm.

Nuestra Comunidad is devoted to building the wealth and enhancing the physical, economic, and social well-being of Roxbury and other underserved populations in greater Boston through a community-driven process that promotes self-sufficiency and neighborhood revitalization.
3nity means state of being three. 3nity is more than a group, it is a female movement that is working towards amplifying women's voices in the music business.
3nity was formed at Berklee College of Music, where members felt a powerful magic while making music together. Their music is influenced by Latin, American and African genres.
Performing in big and small venues for all types of audiences around the world, members have had the pleasure sharing stages with big names in the music industry such as Annie Lennox, Alejandro Sanz, Gilberto Santa, and more.
Two weeks ago, we presented West African djembe and junjun drumming by Coh Camara and his son, as well as Afro-Pop and Moz-Jazz group, Albino Mbie Quartet.
