LOCATION
The world of Mysteryland is rooted between the beautiful fields, forests and lakes of the former Floriade Terrain in Haarlemmermeer, The Netherlands. Haarlemmermeer is located just 25km South-West of Amsterdam and 5km from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

GETTING THERE AND AWAY
Shuttle bus
The easiest way to reach the festival is by shuttle bus. On Saturday and Sunday there will be a non-stop shuttle bus service to the festival grounds and back, departing from Hoofddorp station, starting an hour before the opening of the festival.
You need a separate shuttle bus ticket on both days. Please note that shuttles to and from the campsite only operate on Friday and Monday.
Both campsite and festival buses start driving an hour before the opening of the campsite or festival. The last buses take off when all the visitors have left the festival terrain.
Buy your retourticket for the shuttle bus in advance in our online ticket shop.
Train
The Dutch Railways have issued a special Mysteryland train ticket. With this ticket you can travel from anywhere in The Netherlands to Hoofddorp Station and back. From Hoofddorp Station you can take a shuttle bus to the festival terrain.
Tickets can only be bought in pairs, for €19,90 (€9,95 per person) and can be found here.

Party bus
Share a touring bus with others! Choose convenience and travel with a luxury coach to Mysteryland.
EventTravel has more than 300 pick-up locations throughout the country, as well as from Germany. You can choose a return trip for Saturday and Sunday, or from Friday till Monday if you're staying on our camping. For more info, visit Eventtravel.nl.
Bike
Staying or living nearby? In that case, cycling is most certainly the best and quickest option. Follow the cycling traffic instructions to the festival, and park your bicycle in the designated areas.
Do you live too far away to come by bike? From Hoofddorp Station, you can borrow a OV-bike which you can rent for only €3,85 for 24h. Once the night is over, and you're on your way back from the festival – just simply return it at the station. Super convenient, but make sure you are on time – there is only a limited amount of bikes available.
Kiss & Ride
If somebody is bringing you to the festival, please use Paviljoenlaan 1, Hoofddorp as your GPS destination, and follow the signs to 'Kiss & Ride'. After the festival, follow the North exit to reach the 'Kiss & Ride' designated pickup area.
Car
Although there's enough parking space around the festival terrain, we don't recommend you to come by car, as departure times after the festival can take up to 2 hours. Use Paviljoenlaan 1, Haarlemmermeer as GPS address. Once nearby, simply follow the Parking signs to the festival grounds.
You can purchase your parking ticket on beforehand in our online ticket shop or at the parking site (on site payments are by cash only). Please make sure to purchase the right ticket, as there are multiple choices:
1. Saturday parking ticket – Valid on Saturday, August 26th
2. Sunday parking ticket – Valid on Sunday, August 27th
3. Weekend parking ticket – Valid on both Saturday, August 26th and Sunday, August 27th
4. Camping parking ticket – Valid on the parking near the campsite, from Friday, August 25th until Monday, August 28th.
Taxi
We don't recommend you to come to Mysteryland by taxi. As a limited amount of taxis are available, it's hard to get one. Your driver won't be able to pick you up at the same location as where he dropped you off and taxis often ask increased prices for return trips.
If you come by taxi, please let your driver use Spieringweg, Hoofddorp as the destination and follow the Taxi signs towards the festival.

FOOD & DRINKS
Wood-oven pizzas, on-the-spot grilled burgers, Indian, Mexican, Vietnamese, German and Dutch cuisine, midnight snacks, healthy wraps, sweet crepes, English breakfast, French toast, ice cream, cocktails, smoothies, gluten free, low carb, vegan, or lactose free... We have it all. Our 50 food trucks and open-air kitchens serve fresh, honest and delicious dishes from all the corners of the world.
Bringing your own food and drinks to the festival is not allowed, and not necessary either.
PAYMENT METHOD
At Mysteryland you pay for drinks and food with tokens. You can purchase these tokens at the different cashier points using cash, a debit card (Maestro) or a credit card (Visa/ Mastercard).
WE PARTY GREEN
Mysteryland is one of the greenest festivals around. All of our plastic is recycled, our decoration is made from organic materials, our meat is organic, we follow a 'leave-no-trace' policy and we organise volunteer days in cooperation with 10,000HRS.
DRESS CODE
Come as who you really are. We are an open minded festival and can't wait to see all of your crazy outfits!
Be nice to each other and show respect to the standards and values of others. Please leave your potentially provocative sports related flags and shirts at home.
RAIN PONCHOS
In case of rain we'll hand out poncho's, free of charge. We do recommend you to check the weather forecast in advance, to pick the right festival outfit. You are allowed to take small, foldable umbrellas with you (with a blunt tip).
LOCKERS
We have lockers near all entrances where you can store your stuff. The lockers are big enough to share; they each fit around 3 coats. You can book your locker in advance in our online ticketshop: http://tickets.mysteryland.nl.
FLOORPLAN
We hand out free floorplans to all visitors. You can grab them at the festival entrance or the info points. The floorplan includes a detailed map of all stages, food courts, toilets, lockers, token points, first aid and all other important locations, as well as the timetable of all stages.

EARPLUGS
You can purchase earplugs at the clearly signed earplug stands, check the floorplan for their exact location.
CAMERAS
Cameras for personal use are welcome. Professional audio-visual equipment is not allowed on the terrain. You can also bring your selfie sticks, as long as they are foldable and no longer than 1 meter.
CIGARETTES
There are several tobacco stands on site, you can find their precise locations on the floorplan. Be aware that you are required to show your ID when buying tobacco as this is stated by the Dutch law. Both cash and debit card are accepted as payment method.

LOST & FOUND
For items that you lost during the festival you can walk by our Lost & Found, located at the Info stand. After the festival has ended, you can contact us through info@mysteryland.nl.
CELEBRATE SAFE
We work together with Celebrate Safe, a platform with reliable tips and information to be aware and celebrate safely. You can read more about it here, or visit their stand at the festival.
WHAT YOU CAN'T TAKE WITH YOU
You're not allowed to bring sharp or hard objects, glass and fluids. Bringing your own food and drinks is only allowed on the camping grounds (and not on the festival site). When in doubt, feel free to ask us via info@mysteryland.nl.
ZERO TOLERANCE
All festivals in the Netherlands operate under a zero tolerance policy. This means that no soft- and hard drugs are allowed.
AGE RESTRICTION
Mysteryland is a festival for adults (18+). Please bring your ID (ID-card, passport, or driver's license).
FREE WATER
Water belongs to all of us. This is why we have water bars on both the campsite and the festival grounds. Using one of our super handy water bags, you can get refreshed as often as you want, and for free.
OFFICIAL AFTER-PARTY
For everyone who hasn't had enough yet after our first festival day: on Saturday, our official after-party will take place at AIR Amsterdam. AIR Amsterdam is located at the Amstelstraat, between Rembrandtplein and Waterlooplein. Tram 4 and 9 stop near the club at Rembrandtplein, and metro 51, 53 & 54 all stop at Waterlooplein, which is within walking distance of AIR Amsterdam. Doors open at 23h, until 05h.
