Videogame exercise, more Mediterranean diet benefits, tattoo safety, and more
Letter from the Editor Jan. 7, 2020 I am attending a conference this week and I got to watch some cable TV. I saw a commercial for a new video exercise device that was circular in shape and you held it like a steering wheel. This device evidently is one of the new exercise devices that combine video technology and movement. Although it does not fit in the traditional exercise pattern, all that activity has to be good for patients. The question is, how good? This week our intern Joel John, Pharm.D. Candidate, Florida A&M University, College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, has a report on the extended value of these type of devices. We have moved our newsletters to a new server in order to provide you with a more robust experience. Please make sure to add news@mail.diabetesincontrol.com to your contacts/whitelist so you don’t miss a single issue. ***************************** We can make a difference! ***************************** Dave Joffe Editor-in-chief |
