| Bringing collaborative problem solving to emerging brands at NBJ Summit Imagine building a board of top industry executives eager to help solve a specific challenge your young business faces—even for half a day. What would come of that groupthink? What actionable takeaways might you carry on to your return flight? That exercise is exactly what will happen for four emering brands at NBJ Summit’s second annual Innovation Fix in July. But it's not just those four brands that will benefit. The dozens of participants forming these temporary problem-solving boards each participate in innovation unfolding from fresh perspective, of the value of collaboration, of networking with other industry leaders.
The NBJ Summit attracts over 400 of the nutrition industry’s brightest minds and most influential power brokers for unparalleled education, strategic thinking and discussion on the progress, opportunities and challenges facing the industry. |

| New study reveals generational preferences in the use of CBD oil Hiding in plain sight for decades on the shelves of specialty stores and online, cannabidiol (CBD) oil is taking the mainstream health, wellness and beauty industries by storm. While likely benefiting from the legalization of medical marijuana in many states, the CBD oils market is now poised for even more dramatic growth. That’s due, in large part, to the 2018 Farm Bill, signed by President Donald Trump in December. The bill designates hemp as an agricultural crop and makes hemp farming legal nationwide, though states can create their own growing and use regulations. It also puts hemp-based CBD oil front and center, including with FDA, which continues its stance that CBD is a drug ingredient requiring agency approval to add to food or health/supplement products.
