Amazon Reports Record-Breaking Prime Day
 
Amazon is saying that Prime Day 2017 was its strongest day of sales ever — with sales up 60 percent over last year's Prime Day. The big winner of the summer shopping holiday Amazon invented was the Echo and Echo Dot devices — which was marked down and reportedly selling at a rate of "thousands per minute."
