"I'm in a really good headspace. I'm excited about life. I'm in love. I'm happy." The last six years have been what can only be described as a rollercoaster for Amor Vittone. After the death of her former husband, Joost van der Westhuizen, in 2017, the South African media personality was embroiled in a bitter court battle over the former Springbok rugby player's estate. First, there was a dispute over which will was valid. Amor claimed the one she and Joost signed together in 2009 was legitimate. His family said the will the former Bok recorded in 2015 was the legal document. The matter went to court, and the 2015 testament was declared valid - and Amor was left only a TV set. The will stated their two children, Jordan and Kylie, would be provided for via a trust, but in an August 2022 interview with YOU, Amor said it wasn't enough. The singer-songwriter spoke to the publication in defence of a video she posted in which she said she and Joost's brother, Pieter, who is the executor of the estate, were still "in a court battle". Fast forward eight months, and the former 7de Laan star is singing a different tune. In an interview with News24's Bronwyn McKay, she shares more about finding love after heartbreak and what she's looking forward to most in her personal and professional life after turning over a new leaf.
