I’m sure many of you are in the same situation this year. It’s strange to think of planning food for a holiday without many people to share it with. But I want to make a special brunch buffet, even though it’ll just be the two of us at home. The star: this deep dish quiche, with as many fun little garnishes as I can find. I’ll halve the recipe to make it smaller (and bake it in my 6 1/2" springform pan), but it will still be tall and mighty, and it will still be a celebration of the rebirth of spring. Because good things are coming, and we’re cooking through it together in the meantime.
