John, Award alert! KQED recently won the 2022 "Most Valuable Vehicle" award from our vehicle donation partner, CARS. Each year, CARS gives an array of awards out to public media stations who have successful vehicle donation programs. KQED has been lucky to win three awards throughout the years, and we couldn't do it without you! We're thrilled not only by this achievement, but also by the continued generosity of our community. We love hearing about all of the amazing vehicles that are donated each month. Whether it's a new car you don't need anymore or an old boat that no longer runs, everything helps. As long as it has an engine and can be towed, it can be auctioned to make a positive impact towards supporting public media. We've been fortunate enough to receive over 3,000 cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and more in the last year. That's quite the fleet! If you have a vehicle that's no longer useful to you for any reason, consider donating it to KQED and joining our community of vehicle donors today! You can learn more at kqed.org/cars or call 866-KQED-123. Get started online or learn more today. Cheers! Keith Fowler Vehicle Donation Associate and proud sustaining member | |
