| WALLABY ANDREW KELLAWAY SUPPORTS THE BEGINNING OF WORLD-FIRST PROJECT TO CREATE CARBON NEUTRAL MENSWEAR | Team Rugby are pleased to share that Official Tailor to the Wallabies M.J. Bale, the 100% carbon neutral menswear brand, has completed its Lightest Footprint project – an almost six-month quest, via land and sea, to create very special woollen jumpers with the lightest carbon footprint possible. The journey included M.J. Bale Merino sheep in Tasmania being fed seaweed to create a world-first methane-reduced wool and a charismatic courier called ‘Two Dogs’, who sailed the wool 150 nautical miles in a wooden, engineless sailboat and cycled it 2000km across Tasmania and Victoria. Wallaby Andrew Kellaway was on hand to mark the project’s beginning, travelling to Kingston Farm to sign the Lightest Footprint bales of wool before they began their long journey. | | | |
