August is National Make-A-Will Month, and whether you’re writing your will for the first time, or want to update an existing plan, it’s a great time to think about the legacy you’d like to leave and the future you want to build. It’s simple:
| • | Update your will or trust to include a gift to KQED, or name KQED as a beneficiary of your retirement plan, life insurance, donor-advised fund or other estate plan. | • | Let us know! | • | When you share just a few details — which we’ll keep confidential — our Legacy Challenge sponsors will activate an immediate matching gift of up to $10,000 in your honor. |
| Will you help us get the Legacy Challenge off to a fast start and be one of the first 30 KQED supporters to let us know about your legacy gift? For decades, KQED’s commitment to independence and truth-seeking has set us apart. We’re proud to support informed, thoughtful Bay Area communities. Gifts in wills and other legacy gifts have been central to the vitality of our work. Tomorrow’s KQED needs today’s supporters like you, to invest in the future of public media in Northern California. I hope you’ll accept the Challenge! |
