A Message From the Editor

Good morning. Wilson Sonsini has decided to close its office in Beijing. The firm still has offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong, but it's the 18th U.S. law firm to close a Greater China office in the past two years. Also, as the backlash against DEI in the U.S. gets stronger, prompting U.S. firms to be less vocal about their diversity efforts, many top law firms in Canada remain openly committed to diversity in their ranks. Also, we take a look at the collapse of Denmark's Lundgrens, which serves as a cautionary tale for mid-sized law firms.
