Apple is planning a new version of the Mac mini with the M4 chip, according to prominent Apple tipster Mark Gurman. It's expected to launch before the end of the year and Gurman claims it will be the company’s “smallest computer ever ... approaching the size of an Apple TV set-top box.” Such a change would mark the first significant redesign of the product since it was overhauled in 2010. OpenAI has released a safety review in which it acknowledges that some humans could become emotionally attached to ChatGPT due to its new human-sounding voice mode, CNN reported. The advanced voice mode sounds extremely lifelike, so much so that OpenAI has found some users “expressing shared bonds” with the tool. It said users might even form “social relationships with the AI, reducing their need for human interaction — potentially benefiting lonely individuals, but possibly affecting healthy relationships." It added: "We intend to further study the potential for emotional reliance, and ways in which deeper integration of our model’s and systems’ many features with the audio modality may drive behavior" ... |

A select number of content creators are being given the chance to brainstorm video topics, titles, and thumbnail ideas using Gemini AI as part of a trial being tested by Google, Digital Trends reported.
