Introduction to different power tools, including the band saw, mitre saw, drill, table saw, planer, and more! Taking an OTL Safety course is a requirement for anyone who wants to use certain tools in our WorkSpace. You don't have to take Safety 101 to take the 201 course, the main differences between courses is the tools you learn. |

Garden Tool Maintenance & Sharpening Night
Take your garden tools to the OTL spa and get them ready for spring garden work! At this workshop we will inspect our tools, clean them, re-sharpen the cutting edges, and give the metal and wood surfaces a light coat of oil. |

Demo Night: Introduction to 3D Printing
This demo night will give an introduction to how 3D printing works and give participants the basic skills needed to borrow the 3D printer from the library. Covering machine maintenance, setup, filament, modelling software, applications, and more! |

Tinkering School: Build a Wooden Airplane
This workshop will teach your kid basic woodworking skills! Kids 9-13 years will learn how to make cuts with a mitre saw box, use a bandsaw (under close supervision), learn how to make holes using a drill press, and give it a finished look by sanding it smooth. |

Make Your Own Cedar Planter Box
Maybe it's a present or maybe it's just what your garden or balcony has been waiting for. Either way, you'll learn new skills and will go home with a made-by-you beautiful creation. |

Basic Electrical Safety for the Home Owner
In this workshop, you'll learn how to identify electrical hazards and protect yourself while undertaking renovation projects. |

Knife Sharpening Workshop
In our two-hour class, you will learn to hand sharpen your knives on whetstones. We will provide all materials needed and you just need to bring one double-bevelled kitchen knife for practice. |

Intro to Woodworking for Women+: Make a Keepsake Box
This workshop is for women+ who want to dip their feet into woodworking in a safe and inclusive environment! The basics of woodworking will be taught by turning a thin piece of wood into a beautiful box. |
