While we were thrilled to receive this recognition, the true reward of our partnership lies in the many young people whose lives have been touched through our collaborations. Thanks for Helping Us SHINE! | On Saturday April 8, Celebrity Series held its SHINE! on the Harbor Gala, a glittering evening produced by Rafanelli Events at the Loft at the Innovation and Design Building. Guests enjoyed riveting performances from guitarist Kaki King and song and dance group Body Music, and explored Bridgman Packer’s interactive Video Playground. The SHINE! Paddle Bid creatively featured glowing orbs and orb rings. Thanks to the generous support of sponsors and Paddle Bid participants, Celebrity Series raised about $550,000 for its performance and community programs. Soprano Natalie Dessay, April 29 | Natalie Dessay returns to Celebrity Series for the first time since her phenomenal sold-out 2014 debut with the program, "Portraits of Women." Joined by pianist Philippe Cassard, she will explore a kaleidoscope of women – heroines, lovers, witches, and more – through her sublime vocal artistry and deft characterizations.
