If successful, the deal would deliver it immediate production and a company which is seeking to double sales over the next four years. Meanwhile, the Qantas board is likely to avoid a humiliating spill motion at its impending AGM, after an influential proxy advisory firm recommended shareholders vote in favour of the executive remuneration report.
