| Welcome to the Saints Insider newsletter for Wednesday, April 13. Things have been fairly slow this week for the Saints, as is expected before crunch time ahead of the NFL draft. Though, we've still got a bit going on. Here's what we've had cooking at the Times-Picayune the last few days. Our Luke Johnson is back from vacation, and he's reading the tea leaves as to what the Saints are prepping for. Are they in win-now mode? Or are they preparing for the future? Remember that picks trade with the Philadelphia Eagles? Our Jeff Duncan writes that the deal with Philly not only gives the Saints some flexibility, but adds some intrigue as to what they're up to ahead of the draft. In other news, Cameron Jordan is taking his talents to the USFL — in a way. He's going to be working as an NBC analyst for some of the broadcasts of USFL games this spring.
