Size matters (digitally) - using the right KPIs
How do you know if your messages are really hitting the mark with your audience? How can you tell if what you are sending out is actually engaging people and encouraging them to move through your digital touchpoints?

We all know that you need to find ways to measure success, but what should you be measuring, and why? 

Of course, ROI and profitability are the “biggies” when talking about KPIs, but creating, developing and delivering truly successful content and email marketing requires evaluating your campaigns against more varied and nuanced criteria - especially if you want to understand more precisely what is really working for you.
Content marketing really DOES work
Back in 1996 Bill Gates focused our attention on just how important, ubiquitous, and, most importantly, available to all content is to us both as consumers and marketers:

“Content is where I expect much of the real money will be made on the Internet, just as it was in broadcasting [and] the broad opportunities for most companies involve supplying information or entertainment. No company is too small to participate.”

Measuring the success of this content, however, is not always a simple matter.
Effective KPI metrics – rocket science or brain surgery? 
You’d not be the first person to find it a bit tricky tracking the ROI on your content marketing activities.  Back in 2014 according to research, only 8% of marketers considered themselves as being very effective at tracking content marketing ROI. But surely it can’t be that daunting, can it?
