Hi John, Mobile chip designer ARM has become the latest components vendor forced to suspend business with Chinese telecommunications equipment vendor Huawei Technologies, a report claims.
Smartphone sales in Europe during the first quarter of 2019 fell 3% year-on-year and 20% quarter-on-quarter, the analyst firm Counterpoint Research says, adding that there was a marginal increase in eastern Europe while Western Europe saw a 6% year-on-year drop. British mobile operator EE, part of the BT Group, will be the first to launch 5G services in the country, announcing on Wednesday that it would kick off services to six cities on 30 May, beating Vodafone to the punch, with the latter having already said it would launch its 5G offerings on 3 July.
