Cherry Bekaert acquires data analytics firm

Cherry Bekaert LLP has purchased Icimo LLC, a data analytics and services firm, based in Raleigh, N.C. Incimo will operate as Icimo Analytics by Cherry Bekaert and will add more than 25 technology professionals to Cherry Bekaert’s digital solutions and services practice, according to a news release.

Greenville's Artisphere secures $31,620 grant

Artisphere has been awarded a grant of $31,620 by the S.C. Arts Commission for 2020. The grant will help Artisphere make the arts accessible to Greenville residents and visitors, as well as showcase the city’s cultural offerings, according to a news release from Artisphere.

Congaree Vista closings don’t worry observers

In 2019, three hospitality-related businesses announced they were closing their locations in the Vista: Flying Saucer, Newk’s and Casual Pint. All three were national chain bars and restaurants, which could suggest drinkers and diners in the Vista prefer local options. However, Nonnah’s, a longtime local destination for dessert, also closed in November after 23 years in the Vista.

SCRA gives grant funds to 4 companies

State-chartered nonprofit SCRA has awarded a total of $150,000 in grant funding to four of its client companies.
