Making Futures is a biennial international knowledge exchange platform that we are hosting together with Plymouth College of Art. This year’s conference is the first in Southeast Asia and supported through British Council’s Crafting Futures global programme and our partnership with DTI-Design Center of the Philippines.

Watch how HoliCOW designers are closing the loop in Cebu

Cebu has always been a hub for the Philippines’ furniture industry, but in recent years has struggled to keep up with competitors. The Holistic Coalition of the Willing (HoliCOW) hopes to surpass this challenge by bringing together creatives and artisans to cultivate designs for a sustainable future. Focused on a mission to achieve harmony between their products and the environment, HoliCOW believes that in supporting its members and community, ‘...we can come up with beautiful things’.

Filipiniana

Filipiñana featured in Berlin International Film Festival

Filipiñana, the first short film produced by the Film Producers Society, in collaboration with the London Film School, has been selected as an official entry to Berlinale Shorts this month. Of the 24 films featured, Filipiñana is the only short film from Asia. It was written and directed by Rafael Manuel and co-produced by Film Producers Society’s Kyle Nieva.
