| Good afternoon, These are today's top stories: Beaten to a pulp on a night out for being gay Crime reporter Stef Hall has spoken to Ryan Turner following a homophobic attack which left him hospitalised. After he tried to act a peacemaker on a night out he was punched so hard by his attacker that he was knocked unconscious. Across the region cases of Covid have generally been falling since lockdown began in January. While some areas are still seeing cases rise other areas have seen cases drop quickly.
