At least 15 people have been shot in vehicles on I-10 or I-610 so far this year, including Ceyonne Riley. Riley, who aspired to become a nurse, recently died of her injuries. “It’s just senseless,” a friend said. Sure is. 'Tough calls.': It's campaign season in New Orleans. Qualifying begins next week for city elections in October, and Mayor LaToya Cantrell's first TV spot will land tonight during the NBA Finals. The ad will focus on tough decisions Cantrell says she made during the worst of the pandemic, politics reporter Jessica Williams writes. That sweet python: Looking for some good news? It’s safe to shop again at the Mall of Louisiana. Cara, the 12-foot albino Burmese python (say that three times fast) has been recovered.
