At least 32 people are dead as a result of dangerous flooding in south-central Texas, officials said at a news briefing, as search efforts continue with dozens still missing.

Gov. Greg Abbott expanded the state's disaster declaration to include Bexar, Burnet, Caldwell, Guadalupe, Travis and Williamson counties, saying state officials will be "relentless" in searching for victims.
