Being Planned? This news is scary enough on its own. But what is making me much more nervous about this situation is a frightening comparison that Coats is asserting. He warns that the possibility of a crippling attack on our critical infrastructure by a foreign actor is "growing." And get this. He's comparing the signals our spies are seeing right now, to the "alarming activities" that U.S. intelligence agencies detected just before 9/11. Coats said, "The system was blinking red. Here we are nearly two decades later. I'm here to say the warning lights are blinking red again." An "Electronic Atom Bomb" Computers run our power grid, water supply and even telephones. Our entire infrastructure is powered by "smart" devices. All these programs work together to form one "digital city" that runs nearly every part of our lives in the background. And our enemies have found an "Electronic Atom Bomb" that could wipe out our power grid, water treatment and phone abilities with the push of a button. Here's the worst part: it doesn't require any "new" advancements. Just a computer and an internet connection. I'm talking about a cyber-attack. But don't misunderstand: Just because this cyber-attack will take out computer systems, doesn't mean it won't wreak havoc on the real world. Fox News Reports Our Death Toll Would Be Staggering A well-executed cyber-attack could knock out the electrical grid and shut off power to a huge swath of the country. Not to mention compromising vital government or financial data, leaving us unsure what is real and what isn't. The vast numbers of Internet-connected devices, from cars to pacemakers, means the risks are growing by the day. When our electric grid fails, it will be like watching America have a heart attack right before your eyes. Because when the heart stops pumping... everything shuts down and the patient flat lines. Our enemies could cripple our great country in a matter of minutes, without having to fire a single bullet. They could just sit back and watch as we self-destruct through looting, rioting and the targeting of police officers. "Our death toll would be staggering" reports FOX News. U.S. is in "Crisis Mode" Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said last week that the U.S. is in "crisis mode." She compared the danger of a massive cyber-attack to a Category 5 hurricane looming on the horizon. Former CIA Director Leon Panetta says the biggest threat is "a cyber-attack that could paralyze the nation." Former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff adds, "Cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure from state or state-sponsored actors are the biggest threat right now." | Phillip R. I was thinking about a solar generator because the noise and fumes from my gas generator was getting on my nerves, then I got the email from 4Patriots. What sold me was the fact that I could charge and discharge this generator once a day every day for more than five years. The warranty- who in the world gives a warranty like that? No one else. The compactness, weight and all those features, outstanding! And finally, the portability factor even including the solar panels. Now I have used the system to run most of my hand tools, a small refrigerator, a desktop computer, a laptop and cell phones and had no problems with over or under power / load. | Carl R. I decided to invest in this generator after watching the video online. It made sense to be prepared instead of waiting for a disaster to hit. My daughter and I were living in Florida when Charlie hit and left without electricity for a week. I moved to Tennessee shortly after that stating, "I would never go thru that again". Guess what? Tennessee also gets storms from time to time that have left us in the dark. We are living in scary times and believe we need to have a plan of action rather than regret! I ran the refrigerator for several hours to measure the battery drain with good results. I also tested the solar panels to recharge the device and all worked well.
