Very rare painted photograph of the Countess of Castiglione by Pierre-Louis Pierson. Beautiful set on Italian photography (c. 1860-1880). Exceptional albums on Africa in the 19th century: two albums on Senegal, 1867 / two albums on Congo, 1890. Important set by the Austrian anthropologist Hugo Bernatzik: more than 600 prints on East Africa and Southeast Asia (1927-1937).
