Children Ages 2 & Under: Free

Mary's Art Explorers is geared towards infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, but big brothers and sisters are welcome to join and create art with us. Your registration includes admission to the museum for the whole day.

Space is limited so preregister to guarantee your spot!

VERY GOOD HATS



This week Miss Georgia joins us as we read Very Good Hats by

Emma Straub and illustrated by Blanca Gomez.

We are thrilled to welcome FAM Fest back to CAM on Saturday, August 17.

Join us for FREE family fun activities from 10 AM to Noon. 

This is a CAM Community Day which means FREE museum & event admission

all day long! It’s a family fun day of food, art, music, and more. 

FAM Fest takes place at CAM’s Pancoe Education Center and on the museum grounds with art activities for all ages and an opportunity to meet CAM Museum school artists and register for the Museum School’s fall classes and workshops.

CAM is proud to welcome the

Well-Fed Ed Food Truck plus host the premiere of the documentary

A Well-Fed Education

which focuses on

Lucas McLawhorn’s mission of educating communities about nutritious foods that nourish and heal. A Q&A with the film’s director and stars will follow the screening.

Event schedule

10 am – 2 pm Well-Fed Ed Food truck at Pancoe

11:30 am-12:20 pm: the McLawhorn Family Band

12:30 – 1 pm: Documentary premieres of A Well-Fed Education

followed by Q&A with the film’s stars and director

Jesse Bradley of Kind of Cool Productions.

Miss Ashley comes to CAM from Cleveland, Ohio. Ashley has been a classroom teacher and an educator at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland. Ashley is a proud aunt to three nephews and one niece. Her favorite activities are building sandcastles and taking walks at

Long Leaf Park.
