Worcester's Paris Cinema is being demolishedto make way for a three-season beer garden with 320 seats and a stage. The beer garden is part of the Grid District development, which also includes coffee shop Brew on the Grid and Mediterranean grill Techni, as well as apartment buildings on Franklin Street fronting the Worcester Common.
Worcester to Hyannis for $99
Rectrix Aviation, which operates flights out of Worcester Regional Airport, said last week that it will reduce the cost of its Worcester/Hyannis flights to $99 through Sept. 4. Flights on that route run Thursday through Monday.
Restaurant and bakery to close
Sweet Kitchen & Bar on Shrewsbury Street will close July 23 after nearly a decade in business, the restaurant's owner and executive chef said this week.
