Good evening,

Good evening,

We’re taking a trip to the country tonight, with news Aware Super has put a big Victorian farming and water portfolio up for sale.

Aware has called in PwC and LAWD to sell its Lake Boga agribusiness portfolio, which includes Victoria’s biggest field tomato business, a plum orchard, irrigated certified organic land and a heap of water rights.

The portfolio’s expected to attract interest from local and offshore financial investors, including Roc Capital, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Macquarie’s MIRA and even water rights players.

Elsewhere, we have a new deal out of Sydney-based growth capital firm Whiteoak, and delve into Milton Corp’s takeover ahead of a shareholder vote.

Happy reading,

Anthony Macdonald and Yolanda Redrup
