Axel Springer, which is the latest publisher to take a stand against the duopoly, is taking its message to advertisers that its trust, traffic and technology differentiate it from the big platforms. Copyranter sorted through about 100 bad ads from this year to crown the eight worst so far. NBC Sports has recruited BuzzFeed to produce social content around the Kentucky Derby to drive people to watch the event on TV.
