 Donuts are usually fried. Deep frying is not my favorite way to cook, but I love donuts. So, when I came across a way to bake donuts, I was very interested--baked donuts in a donut pan.
Then I came across a recipe for round, raised donuts baked in the oven with a lemon-lime filling. Loved 'em!
 But you can use a mix and premade pastry fillings. Easy!
Choose Bavarian cream, lemon, or raspberry. You can roll them in sugar or glaze them. Very yummy.
