2 new COVID deaths; 26 new Sangamon cases

Two people in central Illinois - an 89-year-old woman in Morgan County and a woman in her 90s in Sangamon County - were added Thursday to the list of those who have died with COVID-19.Also in Sangamon County, all 26 newly identified people with coronavirus Thursday are under 60, and they include three children under age 10.The Sangamon County resident who died tested positive for the virus Aug. 13 and was a patient at Memorial Medical Center, health officials said.
