Editor's Notes For the second time in a year, a Black man was killed by police in Minnesota. And for the second time in a year it is leading to renewed calls that Black Lives Matter. That Sunday's fatal shooting of 20-year-old Daunte Wright by a police officer in the Minneapolis suburb of Brooklyn Center comes as former officer Derek Chauvin is on trial for the killing of George Floyd last year only underscores how far we have to go. As we continue to seek answers, remember: Systemic racism must be addressed, even at work. —Stephen Babcock, assistant editor, Technical.ly (stephen@technical.ly) |
