It has been a while since our last Basic Income Tea session. But just as the lockdowns across Europe came back, we're also back – to keep your minds energised and to create a space for basic income advocates to come together in these tough times.
So this Sunday, 31 January, 5-6pm CET we will talk about the interactive exhibition project "Wow! Basic Income!". In a talk led by former UBIE Chair Barb Jacobson, Rainer Ammermann and Michael Scholz will present the ideas behind the project and its upcoming challenges. Register here to be part of the discussion!
While Basic Income is often discussed as a political measure or a subject for opinion polls and academic research, some fundamental opportunities and challenges of UBI we face as people and society are partly underestimated. Giving more space for that perspective, a Hamburg based team are co-creating exhibition on Unconditional Basic Income to travel around Europe.
Michael and Rainer, are both part of the Hamburg Basic Income Network. Michael is a former management consultant in chemical distribution, Rainer has a job as IT specialist in the public sector and works in the solidarity economy.
