The BBGV 3rd Inter-Company Football Tournament for Charity in HCMC will take place on Saturday 16th July 2016 from 08:30 to 17:30 at RMIT University, 702 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7, HCMC.

This 7 -a- Side BBGV Football Match Tournament in 2016 will bring 16 teams together, including Arup, Cushman and Wakefield, Grant Thornton, Guardian, Harvey Nash, Hoang Long Hoang Vu JOC, HSBC, Kantar Media, Mercedes-Benz, Pepsi Co, Pizza Hut, Prudential Finance, RMIT, Savills, Schindler and Standard Chartered Bank to compete for the Championship titles. Being held successfully in 2014 and 2015 with over 700 participants and almost 400 million VND raised for our charities, this is one of our commitments to building linkages with the local community in Vietnam. Since our establishment in 1998, the BBGV has been active in organising many events to raise money to support charitable projects for the direct benefit of the Vietnamese people.

The BBGV contributes to projects which cover a range of charitable fields. We give priority to projects which meet with the needs of disadvantaged children and the elderly and also to projects that have an educational dimension.

In 2016, we have supported the following projects:

• Nam Phuong Foundation – Building Ngoc Hoang Bridge in Tien Giang province
• Huong La Charity Centre - Upgrading the bathroom, sanitation and hygiene infrastructure in Bac Ninh province
• Saigon Children’s Charity – University/College scholarships for 12 students
• Operation Smile Vietnam – Give smiles – Save lives project
• Christina Noble Children’s Foundation - Medical Assistance Programme
• Partage Vietnam - Library for friendly school project in Tra Vinh province
• Dat Viet Charity Association - Books for library in Ban San Leprosy Centre and scholarship for 80 students in Binh Duong province
