Cooler than a roll in the snow, chillier than a cold shower, the first ever #RCGSPolarPlunge is officially kicking off! We’re very excited that some of Canada’s most notable leaders and explorers are braving the icy waters of Meech Lake, Quebec to raise important funds in support of Canadian Geographic’s Explore Podcast.
Joining me are the Honorable Catherine McKenna, former federal Minister of Environment and Climate Change; Chief Perry Bellegarde, Honorary President of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society; Alexandra Pope, Editor-in-Chief of Canadian Geographic, and Andrew Lovesey, Director of Digital and Video for Canadian Geographic.
