A Message From the Editor

The first full year under Ballard Spahr's new chairman, the firm realized strong growth in a number of key financial performance metrics, including increasingly profits per lawyer by slightly more than 20%. Our first story has more. Also, many Big Law firms were strong advocates for their pro bono immigration practices during the first Trump administration, but that's changed under the president's second term. As the director of one pro bono clinic said, “there’s something different this time around."
