The One Plus 12 could be one of 2024's best Android phones

The One Plus 12 will get a global launch and could be coming to the U.S. next month

OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 12 in China on Tuesday, and if its Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip is anywhere near as efficient as the Gen 2, the new handset could be one of 2024’s best Android phones.

OnePlus’s latest flagship features a 6.82-inch QHD+ 2K OLED LTPO display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

OnePlus 12’s rear camera system is led by a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). It’s accompanied by a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide angle lens and a 64MP OV64B periscope lens with 3x optical zoom.

The new phone packs a 5,400mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging and is rated IP65 for dust and water resistance ...

This new Withings smartwatch puts the Apple Watch to shame

The new watch is available for preorder and will start shipping next month

Withings has announced a new addition to its smartwatch collection, the ScanWatch Nova.

This luxury version of the already available ScanWatch 2 hybrid smartwatch features a traditional diver-style design along with a rotating bezel made of ceramic and stainless steel.

Advanced health features include an on-demand electrocardiogram, a blood oxygen sensor, 24/7 body temperature monitoring, activity tracking, and detailed sleep analysis. It’s also water resistant up to 50 meters and boasts a battery life of up to 30 days between charges.

Features aside, Withings’ new $600 smartwatch is a stunning piece of craftsmanship — one that makes even the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 look pedestrian by comparison ...

I.S.S. trailer drops on 25th anniversary of the orbital outpost

The high-octane thriller hits movie theaters on January 19

The trailer for I.S.S. has just dropped, landing in the same week that the International Space Station marks 25 years of operations.

As NASA and its Russian counterpart Roscosmos go about highlighting what can be achieved when you put politics aside and focus instead on international cooperation, the I.S.S. flick imagines a very different scenario where events on the ground cause productive collaboration inside the small orbital facility to collapse.

Directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite (Blackfish) using an acclaimed Black List script by debut screenwriter Nick Shafir and starring Academy Award-winning actress Ariana DeBose (West Side Story), the 95-minute thriller takes off when the U.S. and Russia start lobbing nukes at each other back on terra firma ...

Why? I didn’t like the first Pixel Watch at all. I hated the large bezels, the performance was bad, the battery didn’t last long enough, and it was missing critical health/fitness features. When Google announced the Pixel Watch 2, I went into the watch assuming I’d hate it just as much as the first one.

What actually happened was the polar opposite ...
