Lundi Gras - on the Boulevard: There could be a new Lundi Gras event in Metairie next Carnival. The Krewe of Centurions is eyeing a Monday night roll along Veterans Boulevard in 2023. As the captain tells our Doug MacCash, people are already seting up on the route for the next day, so why not? Speaking of parades, MacCash reports that the Midsummer Mardi Gras parade is back. The foot parade marches along a stretch of Oak and Carrollton Avenue Saturday. Hydrate, people! Saintly concerns: Everyone's favorite football team is in the Dome Friday for their last preseason game. By many accounts this is a team with some real talent.
