Free Concert with The Doubleclicks Tonight! Celebrate the first day of summer with a concert by The Doubleclicks! Join us Friday, June 21 (tonight!), at 7pm. This folk-pop duo will perform their geeky, snarky, sweet, and uplifting songs on cello, ukulele, and meowing cat keyboard. The latest Doubleclicks album, The Book Was Better, includes songs about video games, gender identity, cats, and books!
The Doubleclicks have been played on NPR shows like All Things Acoustic, and featured on BoingBoing, io9 and Geek & Sundry, and the Huffington Post. Bluegrass Bigfoot Speaker in Frankfort! Are you a believer? A skeptic? Just curious? Join us on Tuesday, June 25, at 6:30pm for this family-friendly presentation. Charlie Raymond, founder of the Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization, shares his knowledge from over twenty years of research. Charlie has appeared on Animal Planet, The History Channel, and the BBC. Recently he published his first book, Bluegrass Bigfoot: Encounters with the Kentucky Wildman. Evidence presented will include photos, audio clips, and videos. Footprint and hand casts from Kentucky will be on display as well. This presentation is suitable for the entire family.
